Jessalou and Kevin's Wedding
Jessalou and Kevin both came from Cebu City, Philippines but they never met each other until God brought them together.
After completing his college education, God immediately led Kevin to train in the 2nd evangelism training session of PAFCOE on August to December 2012 when it was still hosted by Riverview SDA Church in Iloilo City. He was then called to be the Health Evangelism instructor and Outreach Coordinator for the following training session which will, from then onwards, be conducted in Manila Center SDA Church, Quezon City. Jessalou came to train during the 4th evangelism training session on August to December 2013. She was then called to serve as a full-time Bible worker and then eventually to serve as Personal Evangelism associate instructor for the following bathes. They were just doing their God appointed tasks but God has something else in mind.
On May 2015, Pastor Lowell Hargreaves (PAFCOE's Founding Director) left PAFCOE to the hands of Kevin and Jessalou. Kevin was chosen as the Director and Jessalou as the Secretary and Financial Coordinator for the 8th training session and onwards. They both felt unworthy and even unprepared for the positions but, God already sealed their hearts so that they would not turn down His calling.
God's voice had become very familiar to Jessalou and Kevin. The impressions cannot be mistaken, "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him." His words has always been so clear, "two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour." His providence have never been so abundant, "I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye." Love sprung out for the glory of God, a union for mission.
The couple wants their wedding to be solemn and pleasing to God. Kindly wear simple, nice, and modest apparel, clothing that covers what should be covered and does not kindle pride in its bearer nor envy in its beholder. The color motif will be white and red. Do not wear any jewelry, high-heels, or make-up but a humble spirit, a joyful heart, and a vibrant countenance.
You may be considering to give gifts to the couple. As full-time missionaries who travel often, they prefer to receive gifts in the form of money. Nevertheless, they would greatly appreciate any gift you would give on their wedding day. If you want to help fund their wedding, they would gladly receive your gift in advance.
