FULL-COURSE SCHOLARSHIP
THE FULL-COURSE SCHOLARSHIP program is for Commendable Full-course applicants who cannot afford to pay the tuition but are willing to serve as full-time missionary for at least 1 year after the training.
Qualifications
I. Full-course Local Applicants
The PAFCOE Scholarship is only available for Filipino Citizens residing in the Philippines who are applying for the Full-course Training Program.
II. Financial Incapacity
The applicant is not capable of personally paying the training expenses. If you are capable of paying the tuition or if you can find a sponsor, please don’t apply for scholarship. Make it available for people who need it the most.
III. Proof Commendable Performance
A PAFCOE Scholar must maintain an average over-all grade of 82.9% during the 2 assessment period of the PAFCOE training. Because of this, we need an assurance that the scholarship recipient will perform well throughout the training duration.
Past performance record is a good indicator of future performance. Therefore, PAFCOE scholarship requires a PROOF OF COMMENDABLE PERFORMANCE. A proof of commendable performance can come in the form of a Certificate of Recognition, Academic Transcript of Record, or Most Recent Grade Slip. Recipients of Academic Excellence awards (Cum Laude, Dean’s List, etc.), Departmental Awards, and Work Excellence Awards have a very high chance of being approved for Scholarship. An applicant with an Academic Transcript of Record with a Grade Point Average equivalent to 85% and above also has a very high chance of being approved as a Scholar.
IV. Willing to Serve
The scholarship applicant must be willing to serve as full-time missionary for at least 1 year immediately after the PAFCOE Graduation.
V. Random Mission
The scholarship applicant must be willing to take any mission assignment that will be given by PAFCOE during the 1-month OJT and for the next 12 months after the graduation.
Terms and Conditions
I. Scholarship Coverage
The full-course scholarship covers 100% of the tuition cost if a grade of B (82.5) is maintained in all subjects and a conduct of A is maintained through the training duration. The fees for admission, books, uniforms, and dormitory are not covered.
II. Periodic Evaluation and Grants
The grades and conduct of a PAFCOE Scholar will be evaluated twice: on week 4 and week 8. The grades on all subjects must not go below B (82.5) and the conduct rating must never go below A.
- 1st Scholarship Grant (₱12,000.00) – granted upon approval of the scholarship. Covers weeks 1-4 of the training.
- 2nd Scholarship Grant (₱12,000.00) – granted if the scholar maintains the required grades and conduct rating on the 1st evaluation. Covers weeks 5-8 of the training.
- 3rd Scholarship Grant (₱12,000.00) – granted if the scholar maintains the required grades and conduct rating on the 2nd evaluation. Covers the remaining weeks of the training.
III. Forfeiture
If a scholar fails to maintain the required grade and conduct rating after the first or second assessment, the scholarship will be forfeited at that point. The former scholar must pay for the remaining tuition fees to be able to continue attending classes and receive meal cards.
IV. Service Contract
Scholarship recipients will sign a service contract with Amazing Facts Philippines on the orientation day. Every scholarship grant requires the scholar to serve for 4 months after the PAFCOE Graduation, receiving 3 grants totals to 12 months (1 year) of service. Scholarship recipients are bound by contract to serve as full-time missionaries and to do whatever assignments are given them.
