Looking back, Rian Kelvin never imagined how God would transform his life and lead him into a journey of faith and service. Fear held him back for a long time, especially the fear of speaking in front of others. Public speaking seemed like an impossible task, and the thought of standing before people to share God’s Word made him tremble. He would often avoid opportunities that required him to speak, even when he deeply desired to serve the Lord.

But God had a greater plan. When an opportunity arose for Rian to join a local missionary training in his district, he couldn’t avoid it anymore. Despite his nerves, he stepped out in faith and learned to speak in front of others. He found the courage to share Bible studies and realized that God was calling him to serve in ways he had never imagined. However, after the training, Rian found himself slipping back into old habits, so he prayed once more for another opportunity to serve.

And God answered. He opened doors for Rian to share the gospel house-to-house in his community and lead the youth in church. But as fulfilling as these experiences were, Rian felt a longing for something deeper—a greater connection with God’s mission. He prayed again, asking God to expand his opportunities to serve Him, and that’s when Amazing Facts Philippines came into the picture.

Rian volunteered as a Bible worker at a prophecy seminar and soon joined the Amazing Facts Philippines TOP3 program. This was the beginning of a new chapter in his missionary journey. He felt called to join PAFCOE (Philippine Adventist College of Evangelism) Batch 16, where he sought to gain practical knowledge on becoming a more effective missionary.
The training was intense, but Rian experienced God’s sustaining grace through every challenge. He learned powerful lessons about time management, staying focused, and sharing the gospel with others in meaningful ways. More importantly, he realized the urgency of the call to save souls and the importance of sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. This became his highest calling—living for something greater than himself, living for God’s mission.

Today, Rian is a living testimony of God’s grace, faithfulness, and love. His story reminds us all that when we surrender our fears and step out in faith, God can use us in powerful ways. No matter our flaws or struggles, God’s love is always steadfast, and His plan for our lives is greater than we can imagine.
